If you like to dress the part as well as play the game, check out some easy outfits I put together right from my closet to look festive for games on the 4th of July. Now, I'm not a size 2 or a twenty-something model, but hey, most of us aren't! Playing any sport is all about confidence and for me, feeling comfortable and put together gives me one less thing to fret about on the court. Look at these example and pull together something fabulous for the weekend! The best part, you can do it without breaking the bank!

Sporty

Love this sporty look! Skort is by Puma and tank top is from a great collection by Under Armour. If you like a modest length skirt, shop the golf collections as their skirts tend to be a bit longer. Under Armour has matching sport bras in some great colors and styles to match the shirts. Sport bras come in different levels of support while boasting of color. All Items were purchased at DICK'S Sporting Goods (I shopped at the Wellington, FL store) and you can shop online as well. If they don't have your size in the store, you can go to the kiosk in footwear and an associate will help you order online with free shipping!

Under Armour has a great collection of tank tops and matching sports bras.

The footwear is a great shoe called On the Roger, co -created by Tennis athlete Roger Federer. They are available in a few different styles and great for play with flat soles and and a wide base to prevent ankle turning. I shopped online at Zappos for a great deal. Price ranges from $140.00 - $190.00.

The cap and eyewear are old standbys I had and the scarf was the deal of the day at the Dollar Store for yes, $1.00!

Easy

This outfit is so easy and super cool for those hot summer days! The skort is by Sofibella, I go up a size in these to get the skirt a little longer. They have a large selection of fun color schemes. I paired it with a great shirt by 90 Degrees. I love this lightweight shirt that keeps you dry with the shirt tail hem and best of all, it was $7.99 at Bealls Outlet! Again I paired this with my On the Roger footwear and an Under Armour Sport Bra in white.

Sofibella skorts run $60.00 - $70.00 but you can watch for some good sales. I got this one for $35.00.

The visor is really great for ladies who need to keep the sun off their face. I purchased it on Amazon from Camoland for only $17.99. It really protects from the sun but I wouldn't suggest wearing it on a windy day as the wind can catch under it and blow it off during your game! It comes in a variety of colors as well.

The lei of course, another deal from the Dollar Store to add that touch of red!

Cool

This is a great look and will keep you cool on the court. The top is by Lucky in Love and comes with the attached inner layer. It fits loose and easy and looks great. The skort is another by Sofibella and it's a very light waffle type material that flows nice and wears well. The top was from DICK'S Sporting Goods at $64.00 with a $10.00 off coupon making it $54.00. The skort was also from Dick's at $57.00 with a $10.00 off coupon making it $47.00.

The fun part is the footwear with red, white, and blue and a touch of gold by Tommy Hilfiger. I purchased these a few years ago at DSW for around $30.00. They currently have some new styles.

Top it off with a patriotic visor, which was a gift from a thoughtful pickleball friend!

Sun Protection

Need more protection from the sun? I just switched out the top for this Kastel Denmark sun shirt. The ¼ zip is easy to wear and UPF 30 with mesh sleeves keeps the sun's heat at bay. Shirts range from $40 and up, depending on the design.

The red and blue hair tie with stars, you guessed it, another Dollar Store item!

Fun

Not a skort person? This is one of the easiest, least expensive and fun outfits to wear! The shorts are Old Navy work out shorts for $10.00 and the shirt is another color of the fabulous 90 Degrees brand for $7.99 at Bealls Outlet. The footwear is Guess from DSW for $30.00 and the hat is an old standby beach hat with a festive scarf from the Dollar Store! Can't go wrong with this outfit and you'll have money left for fireworks!
